Paving the Path to Liberty!
The Goal: Get Liberty loving candidates elected to Congress. Short term goal of 15 members elected, long term goal of 50+ members elected.
The Plan: Organize a large tent of Liberty lovers to vote for Liberty loving candidates who are capable of winning seats in Congress. We need to support Liberty loving candidates who are willing to run in Republican and Democratic primaries and then encourage all Liberty lovers to register to vote in the primary and support and vote for the Liberty candidate. If we can help elect 15 Liberty loving members of Congress, we can start to impact policy in DC creating a path to Liberty. Liberty candidates can win seats if they focus on the Liberty policies that are popular with the American public.
How you can help increase Liberty:
- Join Our Email List and our Facebook page.
- Share Liberty posts and links with friends and family.
- Support and vote for Liberty candidates that can win seats in Congress. For example, if there is a strong Liberty candidate running in the dominant party primary, register to and vote in that primary. If enough Liberty lovers support Liberty candidates in Red districts and Blue districts, some Liberty candidates will win the dominant primary and then the general election. If you live in a toss-up district and there is a strong Liberty candidate running in either the Republican or Democratic primary, register to vote in the primary and vote for the Liberty candidate.
A Liberty platform that can win elections: Reduce housing costs by making it easier to build houses. Reduce healthcare costs and prescription drug costs by increasing competition and reducing barriers to entry. Improve K-12 education by increasing choice and competition. Reduce college costs by increasing competition and reducing provider barriers to entry. Reduce crime by focusing resources on violent and property crimes while decriminalizing marijuana.

Reduce housing costs by easing zoning restrictions, limiting permitting barriers, reducing property taxes, and allowing more private development. Fewer regulations could increase housing supply and competition among builders and landlords, lowering rents and home prices while giving consumers more choices in where and how they live.
Reduce healthcare costs by increasing competition, deregulating healthcare providers, expanding direct-pay options, reducing licensing barriers, and limiting government restrictions on insurance and medical services. The goal is to encourage price transparency, innovation, and consumer choice, lowering prices while allowing patients to choose among competing providers.
Reduce prescription drugs costs by increasing competition, reducing regulatory barriers to drug approval and importation, strengthening generic competition, and limiting policies that restrict market entry. Greater price transparency and consumer choice could pressure manufacturers, pharmacies, and insurers to compete more aggressively on prices. ***???- pre-approve other countries “fdas” so that any drug they approve we automacitally allow in the USA- shouldnt need dual approval- where is this now? Make prescription drugs affordable through competition, allowing Americans to buy lower-cost medicines from trusted international suppliers, expanding access to generics and biosimilars, and eliminating government rules that protect pharmaceutical monopolies.
Improve K-12 education by expanding school choice through vouchers that give parents control over education dollars, allowing families to choose public, charter, private, or home education. Competition among schools could encourage innovation, lower administrative costs, and improve educational outcomes. School choice allows families to choose schools that fit their needs.
Reduce college costs by removing regulatory barriers that prevent students from obtaining accredited degrees through independent study and testing out of college courses. Several non-profit organizations already offer free or almost free college credit by exam, allowing students to study independently and test out of a significant number of courses at many universities. Unfortunately, most universities limit these non-traditional credits to 25% or less, leaving students to pay full price for the remaining credits. Read more and sign the petition…
Reduce crime by focusing on protecting individual rights while targeting violent and property crimes. Emphasize effective policing, swift and proportionate punishment, criminal-justice reform, and laws against nonviolent conduct. The goal is to concentrate resources on genuine threats while minimizing unnecessary government intrusion and incarceration.

Improve the economy and create jobs by making it easier to start and operate small businesses, including exempting them from onerous regulations that may be appropriate for large companies but are overburdensome for smaller ones.
Increase individual liberty by ending civil asset forfeiture, prohibiting the government from permanently taking a person’s property without a criminal conviction.
Make it easier and cheaper for people to enter the workforce by reforming occupational licensing, preventing states from requiring expensive government licenses for ordinary jobs that pose little risk to the public. This policy can increase job opportunities, competition, and potentially lower prices for consumers.
Increase individual liberty and reduce crime related to black markets by decriminalizing marijuana federally, ending federal criminal penalties for adults possessing and using cannabis.
Reduce the deficit, national debt, and the number of disabled/dead military veterans by bringing America’s troops home from unnecessary wars, requiring Congress to clearly authorize military action and making diplomacy the first resort whenever possible.
Reduce the cost of consumer goods by eliminating tariffs that raise the price of everyday goods. Tariffs are just a hidden tax on American families and businesses.
Improve the federal budget process by urging your members of Congress to vote in support of the No Budget, No Pay Act. The No Budget, No Pay Act is legislation that prohibits members of Congress from receiving their salaries unless they pass a budget resolution and all regular appropriations bills for the fiscal year. The act is intended to enforce accountability by requiring timely budget approval. Specifically, members of Congress would not be paid during a fiscal year until both chambers approve a budget resolution and pass all regular appropriations bills. Additionally, retroactive pay would be prohibited for any period in which the budget is not passed. Click here to contact your members of Congress.
Reduce division in America by fixing our election process. This includes implementing ranked-choice voting, open primaries, and ending gerrymandering. One major benefit of ranked-choice voting and open primaries is that candidates are forced to be less polarizing, as they must appeal to a much broader audience. Instead of focusing solely on the most extreme voters in their party, they must also consider the opinions of moderate voters. Gerrymandering, on the other hand, artificially diminishes the voice of minority voters, results in non-competitive races, favors incumbents, and contributes to the election of more extreme candidates.
Avoid a financial castrophe by addressing the nationa debt crisis now. Comments on the U.S. debt problem by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on 2/7/23: “We’re on an unsustainable fiscal path, at the federal government level. That has been the case for some time and it’s something we will have to deal with. And better to deal with it sooner rather than later.” We need to elect politicians who are committed to addressing the U.S. debt problem now, rather than kicking the can down the road for future generations to deal with. Increase our standard of living by reducing government-imposed trade barriers. Most economists agree that countries benefit from trade by specializing in goods they produce most efficiently. Improve market efficiencies by reducing or eliminating price controls. Most economists oppose price controls, especially in the form of long-term or widespread policies, because they can lead to unintended economic consequences. Price controls, such as price ceilings (limits on how high prices can go) and price floors (minimum prices), can distort the natural supply-and-demand balance, often resulting in shortages, surpluses, and reduced market efficiency..
